As I learn from the Hon. Mr. S. B. C. Ross that

you require a report on the work done by the Publicity Committee

I have the honour to forward same.

1: The Committee at present consists of the

following members;=

Mr. C. Montague Ede,

Tr. 8. B. C. "Ross,

Lord Acheson,

Chairman, Secretary,

Colonel Crosse, Chief of the Staff,

Lieut. Franks, 'R.N. Naval Intelligence Officer.

The Committee meets regularly on Mondays at 1 p.m. and discusses business until 2:30 p.m.

2. The activities of the Committee may be considered under two heads,- the "Daily Bulletin" edited and published for the Committee by Mr. J. P. Braga, and the "Translation Bureau" which is under the control of Mr. 0. T. Breakspear.

3. The "Daily Bulletin". This paper continues to be published, and we now have the following news services paid for out of the funds at our disposal, i.e.

Reuter's Service.

Pacific Service.

Reuter's Commercial.

1/5th share. Exclusive.

Exclusive.

A Commercial Service supplied by Mr. H. V. Donald,

Peking.

The cost of the "Daily Bulletin" for the year 1920 was $39,500

and the receipts were $23,000; it was, therefore, run at a loss of some $16,000.
